What is SpamKill?
SpamKill is a inexpensive tool that was built specifically to solve the problem of web form spam.
This can also be known as “bot submissions”, but basically we’re talking about those garbage contacts that show up in your database. Sometimes with gobblety-gook looking first and last names, but with real looking email addresses.
SpamKill was built by our friend Mihir because his clients were tired of wasting time and energy clearing out the junk contacts, so he designed a solution to protect Keap forms and stop the submissions before they even happen.
Yes, we’re affiliates – and of course we’d love it if you used our link to check out SpamKill. But the reason for our recommendation isn’t because we want a few dollars of commission (though that’s always nice), it’s because we use this product for Monkeypod, and have seen it work first hand.
How does it work?
The implementation process is straightforward, and quick – and when done properly, it doesn’t require any ongoing upkeep. It just does what it’s supposed to do.
The first step is to create your form (in Keap, HighLevel, or whatever tool you use). And then you take that code to SpamKill, and SpamKill will update it for you – adding in their layer of protection.
Then, you take the updated code and embed it on your website, landing page, or wherever you want this form to show up. And, that’s it.
