How to Trigger Automation on Two Contacts
We had an interesting question pop up in the Monkeypod community the other day: How do I automatically send a thank you message when I receive a referral? This concept sounds straightforward, but it breaks the normal logic for how automation inside Keap works....
Sending Contact Info to a Keap Landing Page
This post covers using a query string to pass contact information from a Keap delivered email through to fields on a landing page. This will pre-populate the fields on the page with the contact details, so they don't have to re-enter their info.In a perfect world,...
Exit Intent Pop-Up Forms
The experience someone has when they're on your checkout page is crucial. If someone decides not to purchase then they're likely going to close the tab for the sales page, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're gone forever. You can use a tactic known as an 'exit...
Keap Email Builders (New and Old)
Updated: February 2023 If you've used Keap for a while, odds are you've noticed that there are multiple email builders in different sections of the software. Keap is actively working to consolidate that (one email builder to rule them all, etc), but for the time being...
The Otherwise Hack [for Decision Diamonds in Keap]
So, the Decision Diamond in Keap is a hyper valuable segmentation tool. It lets us branch contacts into different paths so that we can tailor the automation we design to feel more targeted, and more personal. (More on that here) And Keap has, wisely, added a default...
Real World Dynamic Content Use Case
This blog post covers a situation where I quickly set up V1 of an automation and then a Keap user (shout out to Sue) helped highlight an obvious opportunity to improve it using Keap's dynamic content feature. Here's the Context Keap Academy is hosting a workshop soon...

Every time I’ve read your blog or log into the private Facebook user group I learn something new from the Monkeypod gang. And the courses that I’ve purchased and gone through have been invaluable to my business. Thanks!
Greg is my Infusionsoft saviour. His passion and in-depth knowledge of the CRM, together with an incredible sense of humour, makes him the perfect person to calm you down when you are struggling with your CRM. I could not thank him enough for all the times when he saved me and showed me the little tricks that he has mastered over the years with Infusionsoft. If you work with Infusionsoft, Greg is the person to speak to.
When I joined Infusionsoft in 2012, Greg was the trainer assigned to me. He was absolutely the best! Recently, when I couldn’t figure something out, I wrote to Greg for help and, after answering my question, he suggested I join his membership program. I did, and it was a great decision. I learned more in the first three days then I had in the past few years.
My goal was to upgrade how I’m using Infusionsoft, and with the help of Greg and his team, it’s already happening. I’m hooked and appreciate all the help I’ve gotten already.
Great, to-the-point Starter Kit course with some helpful "ninja tricks" sprinkled in.
I'm really happy I bought the course to quickly get comfortable with navigating and beginning to use [Keap].
I feel that I saved myself a lot of time and headache by not spinning my wheels on my own.
Thanks for the high-quality (and entertaining) instruction, Greg!
